In an interview with the Flemish daily newspaper De Morgen, Minister Gennez highlighted a disturbing reality: Palestinian villages are systematically being wiped off the map, necessitating immediate international intervention.

Diliani explained that the Democratic Reformist Faction of Fatah considers this a confirmation of the need to address the ongoing Israeli war crimes against the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank. The forced displacement of Palestinian communities in Area C under the pretext of intensified terrorist attacks officially protected by Israel and daily harassment by illegal armed Jewish settlers living in colonial settlements constitute grave violations of international law and blatant assaults on human rights.

Diliani stated, "These actions are not isolated incidents but part of an ongoing systematic Israeli effort to ethnically cleanse the original Palestinian population from the West Bank. These war crimes are rooted in a long history of dispossession and occupation."

Diliani emphasized the imperative for the international community, particularly Belgium, to take serious actions to address this injustice. Therefore, the Democratic Reformist Faction of Fatah calls on the Belgian government to reevaluate its diplomatic relations with the militarily occupied state of Israel.

Diliani further affirmed, "Belgium's firm stance on justice and human rights should extend to its foreign policy decisions. Reevaluating diplomatic relations with Israel is a crucial step toward holding the occupying authority accountable."
