ALKOFIYA "Several worshipers were injured today, Friday, as a result of an attack by Israeli occupation forces on them at the Asbat Gate, one of the entrances to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.

According to local sources, several worshipers sustained injuries and bruises from being beaten by Israeli soldiers at the Asbat Gate. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that its teams treated a citizen with a broken leg due to being hit by a sound grenade thrown by Israeli occupation soldiers towards the worshipers who had gathered at the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The injured individual was subsequently transferred to the hospital.

Furthermore, Israeli occupation forces detained the Jerusalemite citizen Shaker Al-Za'atari at the Asbat Gate, according to local sources."
