" Palestinian Medical Team Dissolves Deep Vein Clots via Catheterization"

Palyouth A medical team, led by Palestinian Dr. Mohamed Kloub, a senior consultant in vascular surgery and peripheral angiography, used a medical device through catheterization to dissolve deep vein clots.
Dr. Kloub and his medical team used a device inserted through catheterization to infuse a dissolved substance into the deep vein clot within a patient's left leg and pelvis. The patient, a 13-year-old suffering from severe pain, discoloration, and significant swelling in the left leg, faced life-threatening complications.
After the successful procedure, Dr.
Kloub stated in a press release that the patient's condition had stabilized, marking a groundbreaking achievement in Gaza. The operation involved highly skilled techniques and modern methods for treating deep vein thrombosis in the left iliac vein and left femur, ultimately bridging a 2cm difference between the patient's legs after ten days of follow-up.
Dr. Kloub emphasized the high-tech nature of this procedure, which has become essential for treating severe deep vein clots, particularly in young individuals. Dr. Salah Al-Shami, consultant and head of the Internal Medicine Department at the European Hospital, praised Dr. Kloub and the entire medical team for their swift response and high-tech approach to performing this procedure.
Kloub also commended the team's effort, recognizing it as a milestone in developing a highly technical approach to deep vein clots and their complications. This medical procedure is considered one of the most recent advancements in the world over the past two years, and its successful introduction in Gaza represents a significant achievement.
