On this day, September 30, 2015, the Palestinian flag was raised for the first time at the United Nations headquarters in New York alongside the flags of member states.

 The United Nations General Assembly issued a resolution (A/Res/67/320), stipulating that the flags of non-member observer states be raised at the United Nations headquarters on September 10, 2015.

This day, “Palestinian Flag Day,” represents great political symbolism for our people
