The Israeli occupation threatens to close the archaeological area in Sebastia

Palyouth
The Israeli occupation forces announced on Wednesday their intention to close the archaeological area in the town of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank, for several days to Palestinian citizens to enable Israeli settlers to storm it and celebrate their holidays there.
The mayor of Sebastia, Muhammad Azem, said that the occupation forces stormed the archaeological area and informed the owners of shops and tourist establishments there that they would set up tents for settlers at the archaeological site starting next Sunday for a period of three days, and would close the site completely.
He explained that the closure includes the entire archaeological area in the town, including the threshing floor square, the Roman amphitheater, and the archaeological hill, which is distributed between area classified (B) and area (C).
