Nine Palestinian administrative detainees continue their hunger strike today, Sunday, in refusal of their administrative detention.

Palyouth The striking detainees are: Kayed Al-Fasfous from Dura City, and Sultan Al-Khalouf from the town of Birqin/Jenin, both of whom have been on hunger strike for 18 days. Additionally, detainee Osama Dakrour is on his 14th day of hunger strike, and since 11 days ago, detainees in "Raymon" prison have joined them: Hadi Najee Nazal, Mohammad Taysir Zakarna, Anas Ahmad Kamel, Abdul Rahman Iyad Baraka, Mohammad Basem Akhmis, and Zuhdi Talal 'Obaido.

According to a press statement from the Prisoners' Club, the Palestinian administrative detainees in "Ofer" prison primarily continue their hunger strike against the ongoing crime of administrative detention imposed upon them.

The Prisoners' Club stated that since the beginning of the nine detainees' hunger strikes, the Israeli prison authorities have initiated punitive measures against them, including the policy of solitary confinement, which is one of the most dangerous policies executed against Palestinian prisoners. Additionally, attempts to obstruct visits by lawyers and psychological pressure tactics by prison guards have been employed.
