Palyouth The list of the Deans of the Palestinians  prisoners has once again risen to 452 prisoners as a number of prisoners mark their 21st consecutive year in Israeli occupation prisons, according to the Palestinian Center for Prisoners' Studies.

The center clarified that these prisoners include :

Osman Muhammad Abu Khirj from Jenin, who has been imprisoned since September 12, 2003, and is serving a life sentence.

The two Jerusalemite prisoners, Majdi Barkat al-Zaatari and Abdullah Adnan al-Sharbati, who have been imprisoned since September 13, 2003, and are also serving life sentences.

Nahar Ahmad Abdullah Saadi from Jenin, who has been imprisoned since September 15, 2003, and is serving a life sentence.

The director of the center, Riyad Al-Ashqar, stated, "The numbers of the Deans of the Palestinians  prisoners, those who have spent more than 20 consecutive years behind israeli bars, are increasing due to the presence of hundreds of prisoners who have been imprisoned for many years and are serving life sentences or decades in Israeli occupation prisons."

Al-Ashqar noted that three of the Deans of the  Palestinians prisoners were released from Israeli prisons in recent days after completing their full sentences.

He also pointed out that 19 Palestinian prisoners have been detained for more than three decades, in addition to prisoner Nael Barghouti from Ramallah, who spent nearly 43 years in detention, was released in 2011 after 34 consecutive years in Israeli prisons, re-arrested in 2014, and remains imprisoned with his previous life sentence reinstated.

Among the Palestinians Deans prisoners, Al-Ashqar mentioned that 22 prisoners have been held since before the signing of the Oslo Accords in 1994, with at least 30 years spent in Israeli prisons.

The Palestinian Center for Prisoners' Studies called on the international community and its humanitarian institutions to take effective action and exert pressure on the Israeli occupation to release the Deans of Palestinians  prisoners, especially those suffering from deteriorating health conditions due to the real threat to their lives.
