[Tuesday, September 12, 2023] - The Prisoner's Club has officially confirmed today that the Israeli occupation authorities are scheduled to conduct a court session tomorrow, Wednesday, for the imprisoned individual Ahmed Manasra, who is currently in isolation within the confines of "Ayalon" prison.

Ahmed Manasra's legal representative, Khaled Zabarqa, disclosed that the court session is set to commence at 8:30 a.m. in Ramla. This hearing has been arranged at the request of the prison administration to deliberate on the matter of extending Manasra's solitary confinement. It is pertinent to mention that his current isolation order is due to expire on September 18th of this month.

The circumstances surrounding Ahmed Manasra's imprisonment are of significant concern. He has been held in solitary confinement for an extensive period, nearing two years, a situation that has progressively deteriorated his mental and physical well-being. Despite diligent efforts by his legal team to secure his release and international calls for his freedom, the Israeli occupation authorities persist in detaining him under strenuous and challenging conditions.

This case continues to draw attention from various quarters, highlighting the broader debate about the treatment of prisoners and the need for humane conditions and due legal process. The upcoming court session for Ahmed Manasra will be closely watched as stakeholders await the outcome of the deliberations.
