ALKOFIYA The Ministry of Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs confirmed that the Israeli occupation authorities released on Monday morning 11 Sep ,2023 the prisoner Mohammed Yousef Al-Maqadma (44 years old) from Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip after 22 years of imprisonment.

It worth mentioning that the prisoner Mohammed Al-Maqadma was born on November 4, 1979. It is noteworthy that during his imprisonment, he authored several books and novels. Also, He is a member of the Palestinian Writers' Union based in occupied Jerusalem.

It is worth noting that the israeli occupation forces detained him on 12 September 2001, while he was working in the city of Qalqilya. The israeli court sentenced him to (21) years in prison, in addition to 10 months.
