Today, Monday, August 21st, 2023, marks the 54th anniversary of the Zionist crime of burning the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in 1969, a fire whose blaze still rages on to this day, amid ongoing Israeli assaults and violations within the courtyards of Al-Aqsa.

It all began when the Israeli extremist of Australian nationality, "Michael Dennis," intentionally set fire to the revered Al-Aqsa Mosque, the first Qibla for Muslims and the Night Journey site of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, causing significant damage.

Parts of the ornate inner dome, the mihrab (prayer niche), and the southern walls were affected. 48 windows made of plaster and colored glass, along with carpets, decorations, and Quranic verses, were also consumed by the fire.
