Prisoners Authority reported that the Palestinian prisoner Khalid Tabeela from the city of Nablus was subjected to brutal assault upon his detaining the by Israeli occupation forces, leading to his transfer to the "Mayr Kfar Saba" Israeli hospital within the occupied territories of 1948.
The Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority stated in a press release, "Tabeela is currently detained in Megiddo prison, and there is great concern for his life as he has been subjected to physical and psychological torture and is suffering from a severe nervous condition, rendering him unable to move."
The authority pointed out that his detention has been extended for five days, and lawyer Ra'ed Mahamid has filed a complaint regarding the circumstances of the assault against him.
Last Thursday evening, the Israeli occupation forces detained Tabeela after besieging the residential building he was living in the Rafidia neighborhood of Nablus city.
